When should I use the TR414C instead of the TR413C?
Use the TR414C when you need both the chrome finish and the 2-inch length required for deep-drop wheels, low-profile tire applications, or recessed valve holes where a standard 1-1/2-inch stem would not protrude enough for a cap or inflation chuck.
What is the TR414C made of?
EPDM synthetic rubber body with a polished chrome sleeve, conforming to SAE J1205/J1206 standards. The chrome-plated brass Schrader core comes pre-installed.
Can the TR414C be used on TPMS-equipped wheels?
No. TPMS sensors require a dedicated TPMS valve stem. The TR414C is for non-TPMS tubeless wheels only.
How often should valve stems be replaced?
OEM guidelines recommend replacing rubber valve stems every time new tires are mounted. Rubber degrades from ozone exposure, heat cycling, and age, which can cause slow leaks even when the tire itself is fine.
